TASTING ROOM

On a stunning knoll top, overlooking estate vineyards and lovingly tended gardens, stands the Gothic-inspired home of Cantiga Wineworks. The sunny and inviting tasting room, hung with Medieval tapestries, brings visitors back to an earlier age. Our current line-up of classic-style wines are showcased with exquisite food pairings, and guests can learn about our unique winemaking philosphy and style.

GROUPS & TOURS

We require reservations for groups larger than 8 people.

Tasting fee or minimum purchase may apply.

(Merry Monks Wine Club groups are exempt from fees but require reservation.)

 

Due to the limited capacity of our tasting room, group tastings scheduled for a Saturday or Sunday are limited to the 11 am - noon time frame.

DIRECTIONS
To our Estate Tasting Room: 5980 Meyers Ln, Somerset, CA 95684

From the Bay Area (Southern Route):

 

  • 580 E toward Tracy

  • Exit 205 E through Tracy

  • 5 N to Stockton

  • 4 E through Stockton

  • 99 N toward Lodi

  • Exit 88 NE (it comes up very fast, so watch for it!)

  • Take 88 through Lockeford. Shortly after Clements, take a L turn to stay on 88. Continue toward Ione.

  • Turn L on 124 N, through Ione. There will be a jog in Ione; follow signs to Plymouth, continuing on 124.

  • R turn (NE) on E-16/49 through Plymouth

  • R turn on E-16 in Plymouth, toward Shenandoah Valley

  • Continue on E-16 through Shenandoah and into El Dorado County. E-16 is known as Mt Aukum Rd after the county line.

  • About 10 minutes past the town of Mt Aukum, you will come to the Somerset corner. (You'll pass Fairplay Rd and drive down into the Consumnes River canyon and back up again before you get there.) 

  • Turn R (south) at Grizzly Flat Rd and proceed 1/2 mile. 

  • Turn R on Meyers Lane and proceed 500' to our entrance, on the right.*

 

From Sacramento or Placerville:

 

  • 50 E to Missouri Flat Rd (just at the W end of Placerville)

  • S on Missouri Flat Rd, past Walmart

  • L (or E) on Pleasant Valley Rd, continue approx. 5 mi.

  • R (or S) on Buck's Bar Rd (it's a 3-way stop sign), continue approx. 5 mi.

  • Proceed through the intersection with Mt. Aukum Road (E-16), and head up Grizzly Flat Road 1/2 mile.

  • Turn R on Meyers Lane and continue 500' to our entrance on the right side.*

*PLEASE NOTE: Google Maps might direct you to turn right on Moody Rd from Grizzly Flat Rd. This is incorrect. 

 Please continue to the top of the hill and turn right on Meyers Ln.
